    • An automated system and method for conducting a usability test. The system conducts the usability test and records events that occur on the computer screen in sync with both the video and audio of the user and creates a complete chronicle of events that occur behind the scenes in the applications and the operating system. The system, depending upon the settings specified in the configuration, also captures other input streams and then saves the complete recording of the usability test, along with all the desired events and captures, in a file format. The system allows a remote viewer to observe, in real time, the recording of the usability test and to set markers at critical moments during the recording which are to be recorded. The system also allows the manager or administrator to configure the preferences, import and analyze the usability test and recording files, and prepare presentation videos of the usability test based upon the analyzed criteria.

    • A ring positioning device has positioning elements radially adjustable on a support to fit different diameter cylinder bores. The positioning elements slide in channels in the support and are clamped to the support by knobs that have threaded shafts that slide in slots through the support and are threaded into the positioning elements to clamp them to the support. The positioning elements have protrusions or shoulders that engage the cylinder block deck and lower abutment surfaces that position piston rings in the cylinder bore. A second embodiment uses pivoted arms to adjust for different cylinder bore size with threaded rods on the arms to adjust for different depth ring placement.

    • A method for monitoring vehicle speed is provided. The method includes receiving a current speed of a vehicle and a current speed limit associated with a current location of the vehicle. A current speed range is calculated by comparing the current speed of the vehicle to the current speed limit. Operator alert preferences including a caution range and a warning range are accessed. An alert responsive to the current speed range and to the operator alert preferences is communicated to the operator of the vehicle. The alert includes one or more caution attributes when the current speed range of the vehicle is within the caution range. The alert includes one or more warning attributes when the current speed range of the vehicle is within the warning range. The alert includes one or more at speed attributes when the current speed range of the vehicle is not within the caution range or the warning range.
