    • Disclosed are a die carrier and associated method for conducting probe beam tests on chips designed to be packaged in flip-chip packages. The die carrier is a specially modified membrane type carrier that includes a probe access region, such as an opening, in the membrane. A die to be tested is mounted in the die carrier such that its I/O pads make electrical contact with corresponding bump contacts on the membrane. The die/carrier assembly is then mounted in a test socket provided on a chip testing apparatus such that electrical I/O signals can be provided to and from an external test circuit. While the die is being electrical tested, a probe beam is directed through the probe access region and onto the chip active surface. In this manner, the chip active surface is probed while exposed to electrical stimulus.

    • A compact food container organizer by which variously sized food containers and their lids are stored and sorted in a neat and orderly manner. The organizer has a plurality of upstanding pedestals attached to a flat support base. At least some of the pedestals have respective disk-shaped end caps detachably connected to and removable from the tops thereof. The lengths of the upstanding pedestals above the support base and the diameters of the disk-shaped end caps vary so that stacks of different food containers can first be inverted and then positioned over correspondingly sized pedestals so that the bottoms of the containers are seated on opposing end caps connected to the pedestals. A plurality of lid baskets having different sizes are attached to the support base to accommodate therewithin lids of different sizes that cover the food containers.

    • A compact support for a battery charger and a cable to be connected from the battery charger to a cell phone or other battery-powered device. The support includes a base on which the battery charger is seated and a stand having a winding hub projecting therefrom. Slots are formed through the base to receive respective terminals (i.e., prongs) of the battery charger to attach the battery charger to the support. The winding hub projecting from the stand has a pair of hub arms and respective tongues which turn away from the arms and each other. The cable of the battery charger is first wrapped around the pair of hub arms so as to lie between the tongues thereof and the stand and then removably retained by one or more notches formed in the stand and one of the tongues of the hub arms.
