    • A laundry finishing treatment article for use in a mechanical laundry drier to treat fabrics with a substance of the laundry finishing type and a laundry odorant, the article comprising a hollow bag of two-layer composite sheeting having a pillowlike form closed on all sides, the external layer of said two-layer composite sheeting being an open-celled absorbent layer containing an amount effective to treat said fabrics of the substance, which substance is substantially solid at room temperature and softened or liquefied at elevated drier temperatures to enable a transfer of the substance to the laundry during the drying thereof, and the internal layer of the two-layer composite sheeting being a plastic film substantially gas-impermeable at room temperature and gas-permeable to the odorant at elevated drier temperatures, the film enclosing an effective amount of the odorant; as well as the process for after-treating laundry in a drier in which the above laundry finishing treatment article is introduced into a drier together with moist laundry and allowed to act on the laundry during the drying process.

    • The invention relates to a storage medium for storing information/data, wherein the storage medium comprises a dielectric storage material, more particularly a disk-shaped storage material on which a metal ion donor medium is arranged or can be applied on at least one side thereof. Metal ions can be transferred from the donor medium onto the storage medium by exposing the storage medium to radiation, more particularly to laser radiation. The invention also relates to a storage medium for storing information/data, wherein the storage medium comprises a dielectric storage material, more particularly a disk-shaped storage material having at least one local metal ion doping, wherein the metal ions can be converted into metal particles and/or metal particles agglomerations by means of radiation, more particularly laser radiation. The invention further relates to a method for storing and/or reading data with a storage medium, more particularly in accordance with one of the above mentioned claims, whereby doping of the storage medium/material with metal ions from a donor medium arranged on the storage medium/material is carried out by radiating the storage medium/material with a electromagnetic and/or particle radiation, more particularly laser radiation, or information in the storage material is stored in a dielectric storage material that is at least locally doped with metal ions through local metal particle formation from the metal ions by radiating the storage medium/material with electromagnetic and/or particle radiation more particularly laser radiation, and/or stored information is read by transmission and/or reflection scanning the storage material with the above-mentioned radiation.

    • An optical storage system capable of use as a business card or a credit card of a rectangular card lying flat against an optical storage medium which can have a circular track for the optical storage of data. Symmetrical fastening elements around the whole optical storage medium secure the card and the optical storage medium together in two positions at right angles to one another. In one position the system has a rectangular configuration corresponding to that of a card. In the second position arcuate ends of the optical storage element lie along the longitudinal edges of the card to enable the system to be placed in a reader or writer for the optical data.
