    • A method for delivering published messages to subscribers comprises: —storing a set of subscriptions (F1_top1, F2_top3, F3_top4) in a routing table (RTO) of a first broker (BRO), —sending a set of messages (e1, e2, e3) from the first broker (BRO) to a second broker (BR1) according to at least one subscription (F1_top1) stored in the routing table (RTO)1—receiving a subsequent message (ek), —determining a search term (topi) based on a data element of the subsequent message (ek), —comparing the search term (topi) with a set of data elements stored in a relation repository (CRR), and—controlling sending of the subsequent message (ek) to the second broker (BR1) according to a result of said comparison, wherein the set of data elements stored in the relation repository (CRR) comprises data elements of the messages (e1, e2, e3) previously sent to the second broker (BR1), and wherein said set of subscriptions (F1_top1, F2_top3, F3_top4) contains at least one subscription (F3_top4), which specifies a topic (top4), which is not contained in the set of data elements stored in the relation repository (CRR).

    • A surveillance monitor includes a monitor assembly and a control hub. The monitor assembly includes at least one display unit for displaying a predetermined image. The control hub includes a control housing and a control module. The control housing is positioned at a distance from the monitor assembly. The control module is electrically communicated with the monitor assembly, wherein the control module comprises a central processing unit and a control panel provided on the control housing, wherein the central processing unit is arranged to process video signals, and transmit the processed video signal to the monitor assembly for generating a corresponding video image on the monitor assembly, so that a user is able to control video display on the monitor assembly by conveniently controlling the control module which is distant away from the monitor assembly.

    • Methods and systems for automated decision support in analyzing operation data from a complex network. Embodiments of the present invention utilize these algorithms and techniques not only to characterize the past and present condition of a complex network, but also to predict future conditions to help operators anticipate deteriorating and/or problem situations. In particular, embodiments of the present invention characterize network conditions from operation data using a state estimator. Contingency scenarios can then be generated based on those network conditions. For at least a portion of all of the contingency scenarios, risk indices are determined that describe the potential impact of each of those scenarios. Contingency scenarios with risk indices are presented visually as graphical representations in the context of a visual representation of the complex network. Analysis of the historical risk indices based on the graphical representations can then provide trends that allow for prediction of future network conditions.
