    • A lookup table generation method for a predistorter comprises sending a first single tone signal with a maximum expected amplitude to a channel simulation device including the power amplifier, estimating a closed loop gain and a closed loop phase of the power amplifier according to the first single tone signal and a first simulation output signal generated outputted by the channel simulation device, sending a plurality of single tone signals to the channel simulation device, each single tone signal having an amplitude different from all others of the plurality of single tone signals and lower than the maximum expected amplitude, generating a plurality of predistortion parameters according to the closed loop gain, the closed loop phase, the plurality of single tone signals and a plurality of simulation output signals outputted by the channel simulation device, and storing the plurality of predistortion parameters in a lookup table of the predistorter.

    • A residual frequency offset (RFO) compensation method and a compensation system of a multi-carrier communication system is disclosed. The compensatory method of present invention includes two phase-computation steps. The first phase-computation step processes a phase variation of an OFDM data symbol each time to obtain a RFO estimation for compensating a demodulation carrier. The second-phase computation processes a plurality of OFDM data symbols each time to obtain a RFO estimation for compensating the demodulation carrier. The compensation system of the present invention includes: a Discrete Fourier Transformation (DFT) unit for performing DFT on receiving OFDM packages; a phase variation detector connecting to the DFT unit for detecting phase variations of a plurality of OFDM data symbols; and a residual frequency offset compensator connecting to the phase variation detector, which generates the desired RFO estimations in accordance with the phase variations of the plurality of OFDM data symbols and the compensation method of the present invention.

    • The present invention discloses a narrow band interference detector for a receiver of a communication system. The narrow band interference detector includes a numerically-controlled oscillator (NCO), for generating an oscillating signal according to a time-variable frequency; a mixer, for mixing an input signal with the oscillating signal, to generate a mixed signal; a phase lock loop (PLL), for locking the mixed signal during a detection period according to the time-variable frequency; a first switch, for controlling a connection between the NCO and the PLL according to a desirable narrow band interference signal type of the at least one narrow band interference signal; and a narrow band determination unit, for determining at least one narrow band interference signal according to a low frequency component of the mixed signal, the time-variable frequency and the desirable narrow band interference signal type of the at least one narrow band interference signal.
