    • An improved apparatus for deconcentrating an electric field surrounding a high voltage insulator. A clamp assembly centrally formed within a coronal ring permits positive placement of the coronal ring about an insulator end fitting. The clamping assembly comprises an integral clamp with a u-shaped opening for engaging a cylindrical portion of an insulator end fitting. A keeper clamp mounts superjacent to the integral clamp and a smaller second u-shaped opening engages a portion of the insulator end fitting having a smaller diameter. A captive fastener such as a bolt extends upwardly through the clamp and keeper clamp to secure the keeper clamp in position against the insulator end fitting and the integral clamp to secure the corona ring in position relative the insulator end fitting and sheds. The varied sized openings of the clamp and keeper clamp prevent inverted installation of the corona ring.

    • An improved apparatus for deconcentrating an electric field, surrounding a high voltage insulator. A clamp assembly centrally formed within a coronal ring permitting positive placement of the coronal ring about an insulator end fitting. The clamping assembly includes an integral clamp with a U-shaped opening for engaging a cylindrical portion of an insulator end fitting. Two keeper clamps are pivotally mounted superjacent to the integral clamp, each keeper clamp having a smaller U-shaped opening both of which engage a portion of the insulator end fitting and pivot toward each other between an insulator receiving position and an insulator securing position, securing the insulator between the integral clamp and the two keeper clamps. A captive fastener such as a bolt extends upwardly through the clamp and the keeper clamps to secure the keeper clamps in position against the insulator end fitting and the integral clamp to secure the corona ring in position relative the insulator end fitting. The varied sized openings of the integral clamp and keeper clamps prevent inverted installation of the corona ring.

    • A ground roller assembly for a bundle conductor stringing block utilizes a plurality of independently mounted grounding sheaves which are individually resiliently biased upwardly to engage an associated conductor. The plurality of independently mounted sheaves form an assembly which is connected by a mounting bar which extends between two upwardly biased support arms to position the ground roller assembly proximal the periphery of the conductor stringing block to engage the conductors. The support arms are upwardly biased such that the entire assembly pivots downwardly about the periphery of the stringing block upon proper engagement of all of the conductors within their associated grounding sheaves.

    • An electrical connector includes an insulative housing and a first and second contact received in the housing. The housing defines a mating face, a rear face opposite to the mating face, and a supporting face disposed between the mating and rear faces. A mating cavity recesses from the mating face towards the supporting face and disposed therebetween, and a receiving groove recesses forwards from the rear face and runs through the supporting face to communicate with the mating cavity. The first contact is retained in the receiving groove with an elastic contacting porting running through the supporting face and projecting into the mating cavity. The second contact is retained in the housing and includes two opposite second contacting portions disposed at two opposite sides of the elastic contacting portion of the first contact. A mating connector can be rotated to disengage from the electrical connector.
