摘要： Various embodiments of the present invention provide apparatuses, systems and methods for data detection in a detector with a pruning control system. For example, a data detector is disclosed that includes a first set of counters operable to distinguish prunable data from non-prunable data in the data detector, a second set of counters operable to generate initial values for the first set of counters, and a prune control signal generator operable to generate a prune control signal based on the first set of counters. The second set of counters is operable to generate the initial values at least in part before a syncmark is detected in a data sector. The initial values are used to initialize the first set of counters when the syncmark is detected in the data sector. The prune control signal controls whether the data detector is allowed to prune a trellis.

More specifically, a method of ramping up a drilling operation from a static condition (0, 0) to optimum drilling parameter values (WOB*, RPM*) is provided. The method includes identifying a set of drilling control variables used in forming the wellbore. Examples include weight-on-bit (WOB) and rate of penetration (RPM). The method additionally includes selecting desired control variable values for a first identified drilling stage. The values may be generically referred to as (V1, V2). The method also includes increasing the drilling control variables from (0, 0) to pre-defined drilling control variable values (V1, V2). Preferably, V1 is a WOB value while V2 is a rotation speed value (RPM). The method also comprises monitoring a performance index (PI), wherein (PI) is a combination of torque (TQ) and penetration rate (RPM). The method then includes determining an optimal path to optimum drilling parameter values (WOB*, RPM*) using the Performance Index (PI).

摘要： A new method of producing fuel from biological oils and fats is provided, which comprises the following steps: (a) proceeding with a catalytic cracking-deoxygenation reaction for the biological oils and fats under heating in the presence of a cracking-deoxygenation catalyst; (b) mixing the product of step (a) with hydrogen gas; and (c) proceeding with a catalytic hydrodeoxygenation reaction for the mixture from step (b) under heating in the presence of a hydrodeoxygenation catalyst. By means of the method of the present invention, clean fuel produced by using biological oils and fats as raw materials is compatible with the fuel composition produced from crude oil refining.
