    • This invention relates to a displaceable feeding fence for cattle. The feeding fence comprises an elongate frame (2), support and drive means for supporting the frame for stable displacement over the ground surface and for displacing the frame thereover, and a fence (5) mounted on the frame with openings (6) through which the animals (7) can place their head. The support means comprise a floor plate (3) extending rearward of the frame (2) and scraping means are arranged which are formed by a downward protruding scraping edge on the rear side of the floor plate (3) and a scraper plate (12) having a downward protruding scraping edge (13) on the front side of the frame (2).

    • The invention relates to a displaceable feeding fence. This feeding fence (1) comprises an elongate frame (2), a fence (3) arranged on the frame (2) with a number of passage openings (4) for the head (5) of an animal, and support and guide means connected to the frame which support and guide the frame such that it can be displaced transversely of its longitudinal direction forward and backward through a stroke length over a ground surface. The feeding fence (1) further comprises a mat (10) of flexible material which is connected to the frame (2) with a longitudinal edge (11) over the length of the fence and which is connected to the floor with an opposite longitudinal edge (12). In the fully advanced position the mat (10) extends over the floor surface to the rear of the frame.

    • Self-catching feeding fence (1) for cattle comprising a hollow upper beam (2) and a lower beam (3) parallel thereto between which a number of feed locations (10) are defined in each case by a bar (4) connected to the beams and a swivel (5) bar which is mounted to the bar between its ends for swivelling in the plane of the fence. The swivel bar (5) can swivel between an open position in which it is swivelled with its upper end away from the fixed bar (4) in order to form a passage opening at the top for the head of an animal and an upright swivelled catching position. Mounted above each swivel bar (5) but below the upper beam (2) is a pivoting locking member (13) which, in a locking position, can allow passage of the top end of the swivel bar (5) during the movement from the open position to the catching position and subsequently locks this in the catching position. A control rod (12) received in the upper beam (2) is arranged for the locking member (13), which rod (12) is provided with a control cam (20) which protrudes downward through a slot in the upper beam and which releases the locking member (13) in a first slide position of the control rod (12) and which swivels the locking member (13) out of engagement with the swivel bar (5) in a second slide position.
