摘要： According to the present invention, a liquid jet recording head assembly method comprises the steps of assembling a pressing member with a reference member to which an element substrate is fixed, charging a forcing spring provided for the pressing member to obtain a gap through which a grooved top plate can be inserted, assembling, by means of the gap, the grooved top plate with the element, and releasing the charging of the forcing spring and using the force exerted by the forcing spring to press the grooved top plate against the element substrate, so as to secure the grooved top plate to the element substrate.

摘要： An ink jet recording cartridge mounted on a movable carriage comprises an ink jet recording head for recording by discharging ink from the discharge ports to a recording medium, and a housing for holding the ink jet recording head. For the housing of this cartridge, extrusions are arranged to abut upon the grooved portions arranged for the carriage, and the extrusions are made capable of adjusting the relative positions of the ink jet recording cartridge and the carriage. With the ink jet recording cartridge thus structured, it becomes possible to position the discharge ports of the recording head easily and exactly corresponding to the predetermined position in the carriage. Even if the precision varies when the recording head is installed on the housing of the cartridge, the extrusions are arranged to shift in accordance with such variation to serve the purpose.

摘要： An image processing apparatus of the disclosure performs image processing to an extraction image as an image of an extracted linear configuration appearing in an original image. Specifically, the image processing apparatus includes a line connecting processor configured to connect fragments of the linear configuration in the extraction image due to noises or the like to generate a fragment eliminated image. The line connecting processor interpolates pixels in the extraction image in an extending direction of the linear configuration based on a direction image while obtaining the extending direction of the linear configuration in the extraction image. Accordingly, the linear configuration is expanded in its extending direction. Such operation causes natural connection of the fragments of the linear configuration in the extraction image, achieving provision of an image with higher visibility.

摘要： An ink tank is attachable to the attachment section by positioning first engagement sections at first fitting sections on the attachment section and then locking a second engagement section to a second fitting section of the attachment section by rotating the tank. The multiple supply ports are arranged on a bottom face of the tank such that the supply ports are on both sides of a center line in a width direction of the tank, and that distances between each of abutting centers configured to abut ink receiving parts of the attachment section, and the first engagement section side in a direction along a center line are mutually different. It is possible to avoid reception of a reactive force to the ink receiving parts at one time when rotating and attaching the tank, and to achieve stable attachment while suppressing excessive inclination of the tank at the time of attachment.
