摘要： A stationary exercise apparatus comprises a crank shaft 30 mounted in a framework 10 and including a main shaft and a crank pin 31 offset from the main shaft; two pedals 21, 22 mounted on the main shaft, whereby action of an external force on said pedals causes the crank shaft to rotate; and a fluid pressure cylinder 40 connected at a first end to the crank pin and at a second end to said framework, the cylinder acting against the rotation of the crank shaft. The crank shaft may have two crank pins 31, 32 which are offset from the main shaft in radial directions which are 180 degrees apart. There may be two fluid pressure cylinders 43, 44 attached to each crank pin, the fluid pressure cylinders being arranged substantially orthogonal to each other. Alternatively a motor (70, Figure 7) may drive a straight shaft (60) to which the pedals (21, 22) are attached to provide assistance to the user in rotating the pedals, for example for rehabilitative exercise.

The upper extent of the center section area of the bottom mount sleeve hole provides for the implantation and sleeving in of a cylindrical active link block having a double hyphen- profiled guide plate extending from its lower end that is inserted into the slide tracking groove s. As such, while the drive shaft is being rotationally driven in a set direction, since the guide plate in the groove is forced to follow in the direction defined by th e interior section of the track path, the bottom mount equipped with massage components at its top surface is carried into continuous motion in an axial direction and, furthermore, achieves continuously driven reciprocal travel following the crisscross configurationof the clockwise slide tracking groove and the counter- clockwise slide tracking groove on the crossed bi-directional screw rod, whi ch is among the innovative features of the present invention.

摘要： A pad structure of a back roller massage device comprises the following components. A bottom pad has a long concave portion. A long roller massage device is positioned at the concave portion. A plate-like frame has a size slightly larger than that of the roller massage device. The plate-like frame is exactly embedded into the concave portion of the bottom pad. A friction tolerant cloth pad has a size suitable for being placed into the plate-like frame so as to seal a top surface of the frame; thereby, the plate-like frame being tightly engaged into the concave portion of the bottom pad. The friction tolerant cloth pad completely encloses the top of the roller massage device. Only the rollers eject against the friction tolerant cloth pad so as to be formed as a top portion. Thereby, the roller massage device is hidden in the friction tolerant cloth pad.
