摘要： A shutter spacer unit (4) is disclosed comprising a shutter contact portion (5) a reinforcement contact portion (7) and at least one connecting section (8) connecting the shutter contact portion to the reinforcement contact portion. The shutter spacer may be used to manufacture a structural element reinforcement cage and/or a reinforced sacrificial shutter unit comprising shuttering material, reinforcement and a plurality of spacers according to the invention permanently secured between the reinforcement and the shuttering material. The unit may be pre-manufactured to a high specification and transported to an installation site, where installation may be effected more accurately and rapidly than conventional formwork systems.
