    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact temperature control system for a vehicle.
      SOLUTION: The temperature control system 10 has an evaporator core 18 and a heater core 20 in a housing 12, and a separation wall 28 is disposed between them. The housing has an intake air opening 14 and an air output opening 16. The evaporator core is in a fluid communication state with the opening 14. The heater core is disposed on the downstream side as viewed from the evaporator core and is communicated with it, and the separation wall 28 is disposed between them. The heater core has a first and second parts 24 and 26. The separation wall has first and second ends 30 and 32. The first end 30 is mounted to the first part 24 of the heater core, and is extended along the length of the heater core in a space between the cores 18 and 20.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-conditioning unit capable of providing air flow with desired temperature at individual air outlets, and keeping a space condition remarkably low, hardly using an additional insert.
      SOLUTION: The vehicular air-conditioning unit has a casing (4) equipped with at least three air outlets (7, 8, 9), is provided with an air cooling means (1) and an air heating means (2), and is provided with at least one heating heat exchanger (2) as the air heating means. The heating heat exchanger has at least one cold air passage (12, 13) at its vertically extended part. One cold air passage is arranged between two heating paths (10, 11). A steamer (1) is provided as the air cooling means. The heating heat exchanger is arranged at a downstream side of the steamer viewed in the air flow (3) direction. Accordingly, temperature-layered air flow is formed after the heating heat exchanger. Layers of the layered air flow are entirely or partially directly assigned to the outlets.
