摘要： A sign holder for supporting electrified sign inserts that may vary in width, comprises a base having a groove into which the sign insert can be placed. In the preferred embodiment, two or more gaskets are positioned in the groove with each gasket including a resilient section adapted to engage the sign insert so as to retain the sign insert securely in place within the groove. Each of the gaskets also includes an electrical conductor, such as an electrical wire, which may be embedded in the gasket, in a position where it makes electrical contact with the electrical terminals on the sign insert.

摘要： A modular sign comprises a perforated base having a multiplicity of apertures spaced a predetermined distance apart in both horizontal and vertical directions and a plurality of sign modules-positioned on the base. Each sign module has at least two registration projections on its rear surface for engaging two of the apertures in the base. The projections are located with respect to the edges of the sign module such that the edges of adjacent modules are separated by a predetermined distance to create a reveal between adjacent modules when the registration projections are placed within appropriate ones of the apertures. The sign modules are held in place on the base by one or more of an adhesive, a magnet, or a mechanical lock.

摘要： A cup (10) is disclosed which enables a user to draw beverages from two or more receptacles (14, 16) within the cup (10) through straws (20, 22) extending through a lid (18) into the respective receptacles (14, 16). The size of the straws (20, 22) may differ so that beverages of different viscosities can be drawn at the same rate from the respective receptacles (14, 16). The separate receptacles (14, 16) may be formed by a divider (12) in a single cup; alternatively, or separate receptacles may be molded and secured together by integrally molded components on the respective receptacles or by an additional element such as an elastic band. The lid (18) and cup (10) may also include complementary means to ensure that the lid (18) can only be placed on the cup with the straws extending into the proper receptacles.
