    • A memory device for blocking a component configured to move between an adjusting position and a functional position is provided. The memory device includes a housing configured to be coupled to the component, a blocking element pivotally coupled to the housing and a variable transmission mechanism coupled to the housing. The variable transmission mechanism is configured to transfer the movement of the component to the blocking element as a variable transmission when the component is moved from the adjusting position toward the functional position. According to one exemplary embodiment, the component is an adjustable easy entry vehicle seat.

    • The invention relates to an adjusting device for the longitudinal adjustment of an automotive component, especially a vehicle seat. The adjusting device comprises an upper longitudinal rail with respect to the adjusting device and a lower longitudinal rail with respect to the adjusting device. The adjusting device comprises a locking device in such a manner that when the locking device is activated, a relative adjustment of the longitudinal rails in relation to each other can be blocked and when the locking device is released, the longitudinal rails can be unblocked. The locking device comprises a plurality of detent pins, at least one detent pin being adjusted in the locking position to lock the longitudinal rails and all detent pins being adjusted in a release position to release the longitudinal rails. The detent pins have a detent profile that is designed in such a manner that a first front section of the detent pin has a flare angle and a second section of the detent pin has a transition.

    • The invention relates to a safety device (1) for a vehicle seat which is fixed inside a vehicle by means of lateral guides. Said safety device consists of at least one safety rail (8) which is to be fixed in the vehicle, in the region between the guides, and comprises associated safety means (10) which are connected to, or are to be connected to, the vehicle seat, and co-operate with the safety rail (8) in such a way that they (10) are arranged in a non-contact manner in relation thereto (8) for regular loads applied to the seat, and in the event of irregular, especially accident-related deformations and/or movements in the region of the vehicle seat, engage with the safety rail (8) in such a way that they block further deformations/displacements. The safety means (10) and the safety rail (8) are embodied in such a way that, during the engagement, reaction forces which act in the direction of axes (X, Y, Z) of a standard vehicle co-ordinates system are applied in a distributed manner to at least two different engagement regions of the safety rail (8).

    • The present invention concerns an apparatus for adjusting the vertical and longitudinal position and the inclination of a pivotable seat part (2) of a vehicle seat (1) relative to a floor structure (4) of the vehicle, having a linkage that encompasses a linkage part, constituted by at least one articulated rectangle (ABCD), that has a base (AB), two rockers (BC, AD), and a coupler (CD).
