摘要： A filter unit for exchangeable insertion in a housing of a filter system having a supporting component for supporting a filter unit in the housing; a multiplicity of individual, hollow filter elements wherein each filter element has an outer afflux surface for fluid to be filtered and an open surface portion for the outflow of filtered fluid from an interior of the filter element; and a casting resin. The hollow filter elements are united with the supporting component in such a manner that the filter elements are located substantially in their entirety on the second side of the supporting component. The filter elements are inherently stable filter elements composed with porously sintered together particles. The unification of the filter elements and the supporting component is effected by the casting resin covering the filter elements with a height of at least 1 cm. The casting resin slightly constricts the open surface portion of the filter elements and preferably constitutes the supporting component of the filter unit.

摘要： A reactor (10) for anaerobic waste water treatment is designed as a loop-type column reactor comprising a central flow channel (20). In the annular space (40) between the central flow channel (20) and the reactor wall, there are positioned carrier elements (50) for immobilizing microorganisms, with flow passages being provided between adjacent carrier elements (50). The lower portion of the reactor (30), below the carrier elements, is designed as a space intended to receive waste water having microorganisms floating therein during operation of the reactor (10). During operation, there are provided both floating microorganisms and microorganisms that are immobilized on the carrier elements. The waste water to be treated flows centrally downward and up again along the carrier elements (40), with the flow being generated in part by the gas development of the microorganisms. The reactor is used to carry out a process for anaerobic waste water treatment, the reactor being suited for waste water treatment in the food processing industry and the feeding stuff industry as well as in the paper industry and the textile industry.

摘要： A method for filtering out foreign particles from a cooling lubricant used in a process of machining a workpiece includes providing an inherently stable, flow-porous filter element. The filter element comprises a porous main body made of joined plastics particles and having an afflux surface and a porous coating on the afflux surface for surface filtration. The porous coating first component particles and/or fibres, second component anti-adhesion particles to mitigate the adhesion of filtered out material to the porous coating and to facilitate cleaning of the filter element, with the first component particles and/or fibres and the second component particles being mixed in the porous coating, a solidified inorganic binder, and a set adhesive. The solidified inorganic binder and the set adhesive bind the first component particles and/or fibres and the second component particles to each other and to the porous main body. The cooling lubricant is first passed through the porous coating and thereafter through the porous main body of the filter element.
