    • The present invention aims to provide a method for determining the positioning of private APs for utilizing a plurality of existing private APs. The method for positioning APs inside buildings of the present invention operates through an AP information receiver; a position determining server including an AP position calculation module for calculating AP position information using the AP information received by the AP information receiver; and a DB server for storing the AP information with the position determined, and comprises: a first step for providing the plan of a building to be positioned, and for determining the latitude and the longitude of a base point of the building to be positioned; a second step for determining the latitude and the longitude value of a plurality of positioning points inside the building; a third step for receiving AP information that can be received from the plurality of positioning points; a fourth step for determining from the received AP information the position of the AP having the AP information collected; and a fifth step for storing on the DB the AP information with the position determined.

    • The positioning method according to the present invention comprises: a positioning server including a data transmission/reception module for communicating with a predetermined mobile terminal, a virtual AP generation module having a virtual AP generation function, a DB search module for confirming and extracting predetermined data stored on a DB server, and a position calculation module for calculating the position of a mobile terminal; and a DB server for storing terminal information and position information of a real AP, wherein the virtual AP generation module generates a plurality of virtual APs corresponding to the real APs, generates corresponding relationships between the real APs and the virtual APs, stores on the DB server the terminal information, the position information, and the corresponding relationships of the generated virtual APs; the data transmission/reception module receives from the mobile terminal that is the subject of positioning, the terminal information of the real APs regarding the plurality of real APs; the DB search module extracts the position information of the real APs corresponding to the terminal information of the plurality of real APs received from the mobile terminal that is the subject of positioning, the virtual APs in corresponding relationships with the real APs, and the position information of the virtual APs; and the position calculation module determines the virtual position of the mobile terminal that is the subject of positioning, according to the position information of the real APs, confirms the virtual APs in corresponding relationships with the real APs, and determines the revised position of the mobile terminal that is the subject of positioning, according to the position information of the confirmed virtual APs.
