摘要： An improved control system for air conditioners. The control system detects temperatures at various points in the air-conditioner, and determines the model numbers of an indoor and an outdoor sections of the air-conditioner from these temperature data and a set of given status data associated with the air-conditioner. The control system may periodically set optimum control parameters in accordance with the model numbers and current status data of the air-conditioner and, in response to the refrigerant temperature at the outlet of compressor of its heat exchanger, may control the flow rate of the refrigerant passing through a variable expansion valve, thereby providing optimum refrigerating capacity at all times.
