摘要： A container for storably receiving an ink jet cartridge for an ink jet recording apparatus includes a recording head section for discharging ink from a plurality of ink discharging orifices and an ink storing section. The container includes a holding member for firmly holding the ink jet cartridge at a predetermined position in the container, a capping member for sealably covering the ink discharging orifices therewith while the ink jet cartridge is firmly held in the container, a pump for sucking ink from the ink discharging orifices for activating the ink jet cartridge, and a waste ink chamber having an ink absorber received therein for retaining the sucked ink. In addition, the container includes a squeezing member adapted to be actuated from the outside for deforming the ink absorber and an ink drain port. Additionally, the container includes a connecting member for operatively connecting a case cover to a piston rod of the pump and a mechanism for releasing the connecting member from the connected state when a very large magnitude force is applied to the connecting member.

摘要： A storage container for housing and storing an ink jet cartridge which has a recording head to discharge ink, and an ink tank to contain ink to be supplied to the recording head and which is structured to be exchangeable with respect to a recording apparatus comprises a capping member to be in contact with the ink discharge port surface of the recording head to cover the surface thereof and absorbing members conductively connected to the capping member to absorb ink which leaks from the recording head. With the capping member and absorbing member, an airtightness higher than that of the discharge ports is obtained in order to suppress the ink evaporation from the discharge ports of the recording head while the cartridge which is still in use is kept in the storage container.

摘要： A clamp device which can be easily attached/detached and securely fixed to a board. In order to attach an electric wire bundle clamp to the board, a leg portion of the clamp is inserted in a circular hole of an attachment hole provided in the board, while engaging protruding pieces of the clamp are similarly inserted into notches of the board. Subsequently, the electric wire bundle clamp is rotated 90 degrees, allowing a portion of the board around the circular hole to be held between a base on the surface of the board and the engaging protruding pieces contacting on the underside of the board. Once rotated an engagement protrusion comes to rest in an engagement hole of the board preventing further rotation and firmly fixing the clamp device relatively to the board.

摘要： A container for safekeeping an ink jet cartridge is provided with the main body of a container for storing an ink jet cartridge having a recording head unit, and an ink tank unit containing ink to be supplied to the recording head unit, a lid element for covering the inlet and outlet of the main body of the container for storing or removing the ink jet cartridge, an elastic cap member provided in the main body of the container for covering the recording head unit. This container for safekeeping an ink jet cartridge comprises a rib arranged on the inner wall surface of the lid element for exerting pressure on the recording head unit of the ink jet cartridge to press it to the elastic cap member; and a recess arranged on the inner wall surface of the main body of the container in a position corresponding to the location where the elastic cap member is arranged. In this way, it is possible to cap the recording head appropriately in the container to provide a highly reliable safekeeping of the ink jet cartridge, and at the same time, to store and safekeep the ink jet cartridges for monochromatic use and color uses exhangeably.
