摘要： An electrostatic latent image is developed on a latent image carrier and residual toners are collected at the same time. An electrostatic latent image is formed on a rotary endless latent image carrier; developer, including magnetic toners and magnetic carriers, is supplied to a developing area for developing the latent image carrier, and a magnetic brush is formed with the developer in the developing area to thereby collect residual toners on the latent image carrier and develop the electrostatic latent image on the latent image carrier; and the developed image on the latent image carrier is transferred to a sheet. An electrostatic latent image may be developed with a rotary endless latent image carrier; an image forming unit for forming an electrostatic latent image on the latent image carrier; a developing unit having a developer, including magnetic toners and magnetic carriers, and a developer supplying unit for supplying the developer to a developing area for developing the latent image carrier and forming a magnetic brush with the developer in the developing area in order to develop the electrostatic latent image on the latent image carrier with a powdery developer and collect residual toners on the latent image carrier; and a transfer unit for transferring the developed image on the latent image carrier to a sheet.

摘要： A toner image transferring device is applied to, for example, an electrophotographic printer for electrostatically transferring a charged toner image from a photosensitive drum to a sheet or paper. The device encompasses a transfer charger disposed near the drum to form a clearance therebetween for feeding an electric charge to the sheet or paper through which the sheet or paper is passed, an electric source for supplying an electric energy to the transfer charger to give the sheet or paper an electric charge having a polarity opposite to that of the charge of the toner image, and a controller for controlling the electric energy output from the electric source the transfer charger so that a leading edge of the sheet or paper can be prevented from being excessively charged.

摘要： A color table stores a plurality of discriminating information so as to discriminate a predetermined data of a document data and a color information corresponding to each discriminating information. An area information indicative of a position on the document which is additionally outputted is stored. When the document is printed, a predetermined data of the document data is discriminated, and the color information corresponding to the discriminated predetermined data is retrieved from the color table. An image generated by an identified color according to the retrieved color information is drawn on the document at a predetermined position indicated by the area information. Accordingly, by an image color which is additionally outputted at the predetermined position, a user can simply identify a type of the document and inherent information of the document by its appearance at a glance.

摘要： An electrophotographic recording apparatus includes a photoconductive drum having a toner image developed on a surface of the drum, a transfer station having a transfer unit located above the photoconductive drum to transfer the toner image onto an underside surface of a paper moving along a predetermined path extending between the photoconductive drum and the transfer unit. The paper will be fed toward the transfer station in an upward orientation by feed rollers. Also, a fixing unit is provided along the path and downstream of a point of separation of the paper from the photoconductive drum, to fix the toner image onto the paper with the recorded surface facing down when the paper is ejected from the transfer station, and a guide for smoothly guiding the leading end of the paper into an entrance of the fixing unit.
