    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil mist separator in which oil cut efficiency is improved by preventing the scattering of oil in an oil discharge groove due to the flow of a blow bye gas.
      SOLUTION: A blow bye gas passage 2 for passing the blow bye gas to recover the oil contained in the gas is provided. The oil discharge groove for receiving the recovered oil and discharging out of the passage is formed in the bottom of the blow bye gas passage 2. A gas flow changing means for changing the flow of the blow bye gas flowing in the groove is provided in the oil discharge groove 18. The gas flow changing means is provided to be nearly weir like in the oil discharge groove 18 and is composed of a rib 20 having an opening part for passing the oil. A partition plate 15 for partitioning the blow bye gas passage 2 nearly zigzag is provided.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil separator for blow-by gas capable of efficiently discharging oil to an outside while inhibiting flow in of blow-by gas from an oil drain.
      SOLUTION: (1) The oil separator 20 for blow-by gas includes a gas flow path 3 provided with a gas introduction port 1 and a gas discharge port 2 of blow-by gas containing oil generated in a crank case and making the blow-by gas pass through toward the gas discharge port 2, a separating mechanism 13 provided in a middle of the gas flow path 3 and separating oil mist from the blow-by gas passing through the gas flow path 3, and the oil drain 7 discharging oil separated by the separating mechanism 13 to the outside. Height of the oil drain 7 is set at an oil level surface height determined by weight of oil itself and pressure difference between an inside and an outside of the oil separator 20 or higher to make oil stay in the oil drain 7. (2) A scatter prevention rib 9 is provided right above the oil drain 7.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil separation device of an engine even in the case of enhancing oil separation performance capable of effectively preventing a blow-by gas from being sucked from an opening at a lower end of an oil drain passage into a gas-liquid separation chamber, and capable of effectively preventing sludge from being generated.
      SOLUTION: The oil separation device of an engine is disposed in a flow path for circulating a blow-by gas generated in the engine, into an intake passage. The oil separation device makes the blow-by gas pass through a gas-liquid separation chamber 51 at which oil components are separated in a recoverable manner. The oil separation device includes: a bottom wall member 61 that constitutes an inner bottom wall surface 51a of a gas-liquid separation chamber 51 so as to recover oil separated at the gas-liquid separation chamber 51; and a cylindrical drain passage constituting member 62 that protrudes from the bottom wall member 61 downward in the vertical direction and constitutes a drain passage 65 communicating with the gas-liquid separation chamber 51. The drain passage constituting member 62 has a narrowed part 63 that narrows a part 65a of the drain passage 65 compared to a remaining part 65b so that oil in the drain passage 65 blocks the part 65a of the drain passage 65.
