    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wedge set in the slot of an annular stator in which a slot sheet is protected against damage when the wedge is inserted, and which is prevented from being buckled with the inserting force, and also to provide an annular stator having that wedge.
      SOLUTION: Forward end part 8c of a wedge member 8 does not have a proximal part 8a but has a top part 8h formed by coupling a rising part 8b directly and folded into two to have a bottom width WH0 and a triangular shape. Since the width of the proximal part 8a is increased continuously from zero to a with W between positions X1 and X2 of the wedge member 8, cross-sectional shape of the wedge member 8 (in the plane defined by the ridge lines 9b of the slot sheet) changes gradually from cross-section 8k shown on Fig. 6 (not shown) to cross-section 8m shown on Fig. 7 (not shown). In other words, width of the stator core 3a in the circumferential direction increases gradually from WH1 to WH2.

      SOLUTION: Each phase coil is built by distributed winding in a slot of a stator core 12 as in Fig. 1 (a), an inter-phase insulating sheet 30 having many holes distributed by a prescribed numerical aperture is prepared as in Fig. 1 (b), and the inter-phase insulating sheet is arranged between a U-phase winding 16, a V-phase winding 18, and a W-phase winding 20 of a coil end 22 as in Fig. 1 (c). Varnish 34 is dripped on the coil end as in Fig. 1 (d) and infiltrated successively downward through the hole of the inter-phase insulating sheet 30, a varnish layer 36 is uniformly formed in a winding of the coil end as shown in Fig. 1 (e). Thereafter by hardening the varnish layer, the winding and the inter-phase insulating sheet are integrally solidified by the varnish layer as shown in Fig. 1 (f), to obtain a stator 40 formed with an insulating layer 38.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil insulating paper shaping device in which the pressing force of a folding section and the paper feeding force is regulated independently.
      SOLUTION: A central shaft body 11 is held rotatably about the cylindrical axis AXa of a first cylindrical section 11a. The first cylindrical section 11a has an outer ring provided with a first roller 10a rotatable about the cylindrical axis AXa, and a second cylindrical section 11b has an outer ring provided with a second roller 10b rotatable about the cylindrical axis AXb. A support 19 abuts against a lever 17 supported and provided vertically at one end part of the central shaft body 11, and the cylindrical axis AXb regulates rotation of the central shaft body 11 receding from a drive roller 10c with a specified elastic force. A specified gap is sustained between the first roller 10a and the drive roller 10c in order to feed an insulating paper held between stably. When the thickness of a folding section is varied due to variation of the insulating paper, the central shaft body rotates depending on the elastic force of the support 19 thus regulating the pressing force at the folding section.
