    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil deterioration preventing device of an internal combustion engine, inhibiting generation of sludge and deterioration of oil. SOLUTION: A valve operating chamber 22 region of a cylinder head and a crank chamber 24 region below a cylinder block are formed dividedly, and a lower end opening of an oil returning passage 19 from the valve operating chamber region to the crank chamber region is immersed in oil in the crank chamber region. The oil deterioration preventing device is provided with a first blow-by gas reflux passage 38 recirculating blow-by gas of the crank chamber region to an intake system, a second blow-by gas reflux passage 44 recirculating blow-by gas of the valve operating chamber region to the intake system, a first fresh air introduction passage 42 introducing fresh air into the crank chamber region, and a second fresh air introduction passage 48 introducing fresh air into the valve operating chamber region. A connection position 48A of the second fresh air introduction passage 48 to the intake system is more upstream of an intake passage than a connection position 44A of the second blow-by gas reflux passage 44 to the intake system, and both connection positions are upstream of a throttle valve 34.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase cooling efficiency of each part of an engine using fuel as lubricating oil.
      SOLUTION: An engine cooling portion 18 intervenes between an electric supply pump 6 and an oil pan 3. A part of a fuel supply path 4 composes a cooling fuel path for supplying the fuel for cooling to the engine cooling portion 18. The engine cooling portion 18 includes a bore wall 22b3 positioned between bores formed on a cylinder block 22. The engine cooling portion 18 includes an inlet valve 24 and an exhaust valve 25 of a cylinder head 23. The engine cooling portion 18 includes a back surface side of a piston 26, and the fuel for cooling is supplied to the piston by a piston jet 27. A three-way valve 19 is disposed between the engine cooling portion 18 and the electric supply pump 6, and the fuel supply path 4 is branched from a bypass path 20 through the three-way valve 19.

      SOLUTION: This fuel supply control device controlling supply of fuel to the supercharger 50 lubricated by fuel of an internal combustion engine, is provided with a bearing 66 of a rotary shaft 65 of the supercharger; a pressure control means controlling pressure of fuel supplied to a bearing part 75 provided with a seal part sealed by seal members 77, 78 respectively between a turbine 68 and a compressor 67; and a judgment means judging whether fuel at the bearing part need to be supplied to at least one of exhaust gas and intake air through the seal part or not. The pressure control means controls pressure of fuel at the bearing part higher than at least one of pressure of exhaust gas and pressure of intake air when the judgment means judges that fuel need to be supplied.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating oil supply structure for a piston and a piston ring capable of supplying sufficient lubricating oil to the periphery of the piston ring.
      SOLUTION: In the lubricating oil supply structure 100 of the invention, a connecting-rod internal passage 19 is provided in the inside of a connecting rod 2, a piston pin internal passage 20 is provided in the inside of the piston pin 3, and a piston internal passage 21 is provided in the inside of the piston 1. These passages are connected and a lubricating oil supply path 22 is formed. The outlet of the supply path 22 provided in a ring groove 16 is opened at a position in a ring groove side surface 16a or a ring groove upper surface 16b so that even when combustion pressure acts, the outlet of the supply path 22 is not blocked and the lubricating oil is continuously supplied to the periphery of the piston ring. The lubricating oil supply structure 100 inhibits evaporation of the lubricating oil and attains suitable lubrication in the periphery of the piston ring.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine using fuel as lubricating oil and featured by the arrangement of a fuel injection pump.
      SOLUTION: The fuel injection pump 20 is installed on a cylinder head 19 of the engine using fuel as lubricating oil. The fuel injection pump 20 has a plunger 22 driven by an exhaust camshaft 26 of the engine and the plunger 22 reciprocates to pressurize and pressure-feed fuel. This construction dispenses with the provision of an exclusive drive mechanism for the fuel injection pump 20 and can reduce the size of the whole engine. As fuel is used as lubricating oil, a fuel leak prevention mechanism for the cylinder head 19 and the pressurizing cylinder 21 does not need providing and the construction in the engine can be simplified.
