    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for coating metal powder that forms a uniform surface film free from a flaw.
      SOLUTION: The method for coating metal powder comprises: a contacting step where metal powder (S) and a coating treatment liquid (L) as a solution of a film material forming a film on the surface thereof are stored into a storage body (11) so that both are contacted; and a drying step where the metal powder is dried after the contacting step or during the contacting process, wherein the contacting step is a free-moving contacting step where an upper transferring stage of transferring the metal powder to almost the upper part and a dropping stage of dropping the metal powder after the upper transferring stage by gravity are repeated in an atmosphere where the metal powder is at least partially contacted with the coating treatment liquid in the storage body. In this way, abrasion between the metal powders during the contacting step or the like is reduced, and the coating of the metal powder surface is hard to be damaged.
