    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a pressing force to a slip ring of a brush in a rotary electrical machine, at non-energization as compared with respect to that at driving time.
      SOLUTION: A pressing mechanism 40 for applying the brush pressing force to the slip ring includes, for example, a rocking member 42, which is rocked around the rotational center 48 and of which one end comes into contact with the brush 33; a press biasing body 52 of which the tip comes into contact with a fulcrum 51 set between one end of the rocking member 42 and the rotational center 48 thereof, and which applies the pressing force to the brush 33 at one end of the rocking member 42 in accordance with a position of the fulcrum 51; and an external ring 37 used as a fulcrum change means, by which the press biasing body 52 is relatively moved to the brush 33, when it is not energized, the position of the fulcrum 51 on the rocking member 42 is changed, and the pressing force to the brush 33 is changed to be smaller, as compared with that prior to the change.
