    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a construction period by enabling reclamation over a wide range including the edge of revetment.
      SOLUTION: A main floating pier 10 is floated perpendicularly with respect to a normal line of the revetment in a reclaimed water area A surrounded by the revetment 1. Additionally, a first auxiliary floating pier 11 is floated perpendicularly with respect to the main floating pier 10, and a second auxiliary floating pier 12 is floated perpendicularly with respect to the first auxiliary floating pier 11. A vehicle is sequentially driven into the main floating pier 10 from the revetment 1 via each of movable bridges 4 and 15, driven into the first auxiliary floating pier 11 from the main floating pier 10, and driven into the second auxiliary floating pier 12 from the first auxiliary floating pier 11; and the edge of the revetment is reclaimed while the second auxiliary floating pier 12 is moved in parallel with the first auxiliary floating pier 11. After that, reclamation is performed from the port side of the main floating pier 10 while the main floating pier 10 is moved in parallel with the direction of an arrow F. When the main floating pier 10 is moved almost by the length of the first auxiliary floating pier 11, the reclamation from the second auxiliary floating pier 12 is repeated. On and after that on, the parallel movement of the main floating pier 10 and that of the second auxiliary floating pier 12 are repeated for enlaging a reclaimed land.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seawater vertical circulation apparatus which reduces environmental loads while suppressing an increase in running cost in improving a seabed quality/water quality environment in a closed sea area in a coastal region. SOLUTION: The tip 28a of a water discharge line 28 extends to the vicinity of the seabed, and an opening of the tip 28a is set opposite to an artificial structure 12 across a given or longer distance. Saturated oxygen water on the sea surface is pumped up through a water intake line 26 to the land, and discharged from the opening of the tip 28a of the water discharge line 28 to generate a circulating flow of sea water resulting from the saturated oxygen water from the sea surface. An energy exchange device 20 utilizes a difference between the heat energy of waste heat supplied from a waste heat supply line 16 and the heat energy of seawater pumped up by a pump 18 via the water intake line 26 to drive a stirling engine.
