    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dyke foot scouring prevention construction method which can exhibit a bottom sediment suction preventive effect stably and also facilitates the construction.SOLUTION: A scouring prevention unit 16 is produced by including a filler material having a grain diameter enough to exhibit a suction preventive filtering effect in a bottom sediment 12 in which the dyke foot of a pier stud 14 is installed, in a net bag body. Circulation of water W inside and outside the scouring prevention unit 16 is permitted so as to increase stability of the scouring prevention unit 16 in a wave field. By installing the scouring prevention unit 16 in the bottom sediment 12 surrounding the dyke foot of the pier stud 14, the bottom sediment 12 in a scouring prevention area is replaced by the scouring prevention unit 16. Because the installed scouring prevention unit 16 itself forms a suction preventive filter layer, suction P of the bottom sediment 12 cannot occur in the scouring prevention area so as to prevent a local scouring.
