    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a meter reading system reading electric energy of a plurality of reading meters highly precisely. SOLUTION: A meter reading system includes: an RF tag 4 which is installed to the reading meter and stores a tag identifier; a meter reading terminal 2 having an operation part 26 for receiving data on the electric energy; and a tag reader 3 for receiving the tag identifier transmitted by the RF tag 4 and transmitting the tag identifier to the meter reading terminal 2. The meter reading terminal 2 includes: a storage means 24 for storing in advance electric energy additional information set for each reading meter in association with the tag identifier; and an input control means 21 for receiving the tag identifier transmitted by the tag reader 3, reading the electric energy additional information stored in the storage means 24 on the basis of the tag identifier, and storing the electric energy input by the operation part 26 in association with the read electric energy additional information.
