摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curtain wall with a batten which can reduce a vertical width, and which can surely prevent a fall in a temporarily fixed state.
SOLUTION: A panel 1A is enclosed with right and left jambs, and a head and a sill, or a transom; and a void part 21, the outdoor side of which is formed as an opening (20), is formed on the outdoor side of the transom 3A or the sill for supporting the downside of the panel 1A. In the void part 21, an upward protruding locking retainer part 21c is provided on the outdoor side of the inner surface 21b of its bottom part. A part 22 to be fitted into the void part 21 is formed in the batten 12 for holding the downside of the panel 1A, by being bent in the state of being protruded to the indoor side. A downward protruding locking protrusion 22d is provided on the undersurface of the part 22. In the temporarily fixed state wherein the batten 12 obliques so that the part 22 can be fitted into the void part 21, the locking protrusion 22d is locked to the locking retainer part 21c, so that the batten 12 can be prevented from coming off.

SOLUTION: The vertical frame 2C on which the panel is mounted in a permanently fixing manner, and a vertical frame 2A to which the opening/closing sliding door 11 is fitted are joined to each other. The sealing material 15 is applied to the joint part of the vertical frames from an exterior side. A sealing material 29 is interposed between a part 25d of the exterior-side stile 25 facing a panel face, and the panel 1A.
