摘要： An object of the present invention is to provide a golf ball having a paint film which is formed from an aqueous paint and excellent in adhesion to the surface of the golf ball and stain resistance. The present invention provides a golf ball comprising a golf ball body and a paint film formed on the golf ball body, wherein the paint film has a tensile strength ranging from 5 MPa to 45 MPa and is formed from a curing type aqueous polyurethane paint containing (A) an aqueous polyol composition including (a-1) an aqueous acrylic polyol and (a-2) an aqueous polyurethane resin having a tensile strength ranging from 5 MPa to 45 MPa and (B) an aqueous polyisocyanate including hexamethylene diisocyanate and/or a derivative thereof.

摘要： The present invention provides a method of producing golf balls improved the adhesion between a ball body and a coated film on the ball body without the need of expensive and large scale facilities. The inventive method comprises the steps of: applying an adhesion enhancing agent containing a silyl component and a solvent to a surface of a ball body; drying the coated surface to form an adhesion enhancing layer having the silyl component; and applying a paint to the adhesion enhancing layer. The silyl component is capable of remaining 30 weight % or more after an elapse of one hour at a temperature of 25° C. The method is applicable to the batch operating process of manufacturing golf balls.

摘要： In order to improve smoothness and contamination resistance of the surface of a golf ball while impact resistance of a coating film is preserved, a painted golf ball constituted of a body and a coating film formed on the body is fabricated by using urethane resin-based paint, acrylic resin-based paint or epoxy resin-based paint for the coating film, the paint containing modified polysiloxane having at least one hydroxyl or carboxyl group in one end of a polysiloxane chain at a ratio of 0.1 to 10% by weight relative to a resin component of the paint, and the modified polysiloxane having a molecular weight of 700 to 7000.
