    • An information processor includes a program memory for storing a data flow program having destination information and instruction information as one set. Destination information, instruction information and operand data included in an input data packet are latched in an input data latching portion. Only the operand data is transferred to an output data latching portion. An address is operated based on the destination information latched in the input data latching portion, and the program memory is accessed, so that the data flow program is read out. The destination information and the instruction information included in the read data flow program are latched in the output data latching portion. Paired data is detected by a paired data detection portion based on the data flow program latched in the output data latching portion. The detected data is operated by an operation processing portion.

    • A data flow type information processor includes first and second program storing portions, a merging portion, a data pair detecting portion and first and second operation processing portions. Each of the first and the second program storing portions stores a data flow program and outputs a data packet including destination information and instruction information read from the data flow program based on an input data packet. The merging portion performs arbitration between data packets output from said first and second program storing portions. The data pair detecting portion receives a data packet output from the merging portion to detect two data packets having the same destination information. Each of the first and the second operation processing portions receives a data packet output from the data pair detecting portion and performs an operation processing based on the instruction information included in the data packet to output a data packet including the data indicative of the operation result to the corresponding program storing portion.

    • A data driven information processor includes an operation processor unit for prestoring a data flow program and carrying out processing, and a storage microprocessor unit having a plurality of data memories including external data memories for inputting/outputting data to and from the operation processor unit. In the storage microprocessor unit, a plurality of data memories are accessed, in parallel, based on the content of an applied data packet for a single access time. The result of each access is operated in accordance with the content of the data packet. Finally, the subsequent program is read from a data flow program prestored in the storage microprocessor unit so that access to the plurality of data memories and processing of a result of the access continue in the storage microprocessor unit. Thus, in the information processor, parallel access to a plurality of data memories can be achieved by program control independent of program control by the operation processor unit.

The state of execution corresponding to respective lines of a source program of the executed plurality of functional portions are stored in a PS file and the processes in respective functional portions and the states of execution employed for the execution of the source program are stored in a data packet file. A debug information file (22) stores the debug information indicative of the corresponding relation between the respective lines of the source program and respective nodes of the data flow program. A display displays debug information in association with respective lines of the source program in accordance with the execution of respective nodes of the data flow program.

    • An on-vehicle instrument panel display system preferably is mounted on an automobile and operative such that a plurality of pieces of information including information relating to an automobile are converted into images and the images are displayed all on a liquid crystal panel. The on-vehicle instrument panel display system has a vehicle system, an amenity system, and a safety system, each of which creates data for displaying the images. Further, the on-vehicle instrument panel display system has an instrument panel image composition/output section which combines data created by the systems and outputs the result as composed image data to the liquid crystal panel. The instrument panel image composition/output section includes an image composition LSI. Composed image data outputted from the image composition LSI is an RBG signal or a YUV signal.
