    • A liquid ejecting apparatus includes: a pressure generation unit that is driven by application of a driving signal and causes a change in pressure on a liquid inside a pressure chamber; a liquid ejecting head that ejects the liquid toward a landing target from a nozzle when the pressure generation unit is driven; a charging member that performs charging by friction with another material; a liquid droplet collection member that collects at least a part of a liquid droplet which has not been landed on the landing target; and an electrode member that faces at least a part of the charging member with a gap formed between the electrode member and the charging member. The liquid droplet collection member is electrically connected to the electrode member and a charge with the same polarity as a charged polarity of the charging member is induced to the liquid droplet collection member.

    • A liquid ejecting apparatus includes a liquid ejecting head that includes a nozzle formation face on which a nozzle that ejects a liquid is formed and a pressure generator that is driven by the application of a driving signal for causing a pressure fluctuation in the liquid within a pressure chamber that is connected to the nozzle, and that ejects the liquid from the nozzle to a landing target by the driving of the pressure generator, a voltage application unit that is placed at a position that does not interfere with the liquid ejecting head, on the opposite side to the landing target with respect to the nozzle formation face, and at a position outside a region that opposes the nozzle formation face, and a voltage application section that applies a voltage to the voltage application unit.

    • A liquid ejecting apparatus includes: a liquid ejecting head having a nozzle formation surface in which a nozzle is formed that causes a liquid to be ejected through the nozzle toward a landing target by driving a pressure generation unit; a support unit that supports the landing target that is disposed at a landing-capable distance from the nozzle formation surface of the liquid ejecting head; and a liquid droplet collection unit disposed in a location that is distanced from an ejection region. Here, the liquid droplet collection unit has a landing surface on which the liquid lands when carrying out flushing operations; and the distance between the landing surface and the nozzle formation surface of the liquid ejecting head is set to be smaller than the landing-capable distance, and the nozzle formation surface and the landing surface are set to the same voltage at least during the flushing operations.
