    • In an in-operation system check processing device, an automatic exploration unit automatically checks presence/absence of devices of the in-operation system and relationship between the devices according to the design data of the in-operation system. A check list storage unit contains information on check conditions concerning problems of the devices constituting a network system found afterward. A system check unit detects a problem existing in the actual in-operation system by collating the design data and the result of the automatic exploration with the check conditions stored in the check list storage unit. A caution information output unit outputs caution information relating to the problem. Thus, it is possible to prevent a failure which may be caused in the in-operation system with a high probability and improve the operation quality.

    • In a network design processing device, a network drawing creation processing unit inputs the service communication setting information for business execution in a network system to be designed and the maintenance communication setting information for maintenance management of the network system, while differentiating two types of information on a network diagram, and displays the line joining the starting point and the ending point of communications in the network diagram in display modes different for the service communications and for the maintenance communications. The design diagram data expressing the network diagram inputted by the network diagram creation processing unit is stored in a design diagram data storage unit. Based on this, a design diagram analysis unit creates a design information DB. With reference to this design information DB, a communication setting information check unit detects a setting error concerning the communication.

    • A design data storage unit stores design data of constituent elements constituting a computer system to be monitored. A monitoring condition storage unit stores monitoring conditions of abnormal detection of the object to be monitored and error information to be outputted when the object meets particular monitoring conditions. A constituent component simulated failure setting unit causes the constituent elements in the design data to simulate failure one by one. A monitoring condition check unit checks if each monitoring condition is met when one constituent element is set in a failed state by instructing a network examining unit to examine the design data and extracts all the error information relevant to the met monitoring conditions. According to the results, information on the correspondence between the failed constituent elements and all extracted error information is stored in a monitoring simulation result storage unit.

    • The invention provides novel defoamers which are useful as defoamers for top coat paints for motor vehicles. When the defoamers are incorporated with paints which do not use melamine resins as the curing agent, they can impart defoaming property to the paints without inviting turbidity in the painted films caused by infiltration of water. Hence the defoamers are particularly useful when used for baking finish type clear top coat paints for motor vehicles. The defoamer is characterized by comprising a copolymer of 2-50% by weight of (A) a polymerizable monomer capable of forming a copolymer having isocyanate groups which can react with a binder resin in thermosetting type paint or (b) a polymerizable monomer capable of forming a copolymer having the groups which produce isocyanate groups reactable with a binder resin in thermosetting type paint during the baking step of the same paint, and 98-50% by weight of (C) a monomer or polymer conventionally used for defoamers.
