    • A motor driving circuit for full-wave single-phase driving a motor includes a position detection unit, a turn-on signal generation unit, and switching devices that define an H-bridge circuit. The turn-on signal generation unit includes a differential amplifier arranged to produce a trapezoid wave signal, and a square wave generation circuit arranged to produce a square wave signal, wherein the trapezoid and the square wave signals are respectively supplied to control terminals of lower switching devices in the H-bridge circuit. Further, one of the lower switching devices is turned on and off according to a voltage level of the square wave signal, and the remaining lower switching device is turned on and off when a voltage of the trapezoid wave signal becomes higher than an operation voltage of the remaining lower switching device, wherein a non-conducting interval is provided for the motor coil according to the operation voltage.

    • An object is to provide an image signal processing device capable of converting digital image signals into analog image signals using a circuit of small scale. Addition high-order bit pixel data is generated by adding, to high-order bit pixel data comprising an high-order consecutive bits of input pixel data, a value corresponding to the least significant bit digit of the high-order bit pixel data. In a prescribed period, during a time period corresponding to a value of low-order bit pixel data comprising low-order consecutive bits of the input pixel data, the addition high-order bit pixel data is taken to be the data for D/A conversion, and in other period, the high-order bit pixel data is taken to be the data for D/A conversion. By means of this configuration, even when the resolution of a D/A converter is lower than the resolution required by the input pixel data, the resolution of the image ultimately viewed during the prescribed period is equivalent to the resolution required by the input pixel data. Consequently, to the extent that the resolution of the D/A converter can be lowered, the circuit scale can be reduced.

    • A press die assembly is efficiently produced by: fabricating a press die pattern having therein grooves extending along concave corner portions thereof corresponding to concave corner portions of a product forming surface in the die of the press die assembly; fabricating a cast blank of the die by a full-mold method by using the press die pattern; and machining and finishing the product forming surface of the cast blank by utilizing the grooves as clearance space for the machining and finishing tools to obtain the finished die. In the press forming operation of the press die assembly, the grooves permit the sheet blank being press formed to slip thereby to eliminate local stretching, whereby high-quality pressed products are obtained. The grooves enables an easy machining by a tool.
