    • A skateboard SB has a board 10 that is rotatably provided with a front wheel 25 and rear wheel 26. Disposed on the both sides of the board 10 are speakers 12a, 12b. On the undersurface of the board 10 there are provided a floor sensor 66 having a CCD camera for shooting a floor and a distance sensor 67 for sensing the distance to the floor. A control box 13 disposed on the undersurface of the board 10 is equipped with a computer device and a tone generator. The computer device controls, in accordance with the color and lightness of the floor sensed by the floor sensor 66 and the distance sensed by the distance sensor 67, the generation of musical tone signals by the tone generator and the mode in which the musical tone signals are generated. A moving apparatus constructed as described above enables a player to listen to music that corresponds to changes in external conditions where the moving apparatus is placed, bringing more fun to the player without making the player tired.

    • A skateboard has a board that is rotatably provided with a front wheel and rear wheel. Disposed on the both sides of the board are speakers. On the front wheel there is provided a steering angle sensor, while on the rear wheel there is provided a rotational speed sensor in order to sense the traveling direction and traveling speed of the skateboard. A control box disposed on the undersurface of the board is equipped with a computer device and tone generator. The computer device controls, in accordance with the traveling direction and speed of the skateboard, the performance tempo of automatic rhythm and automatic performance, the switching between automatic rhythm patterns, and the generation of musical tone signals.     • A musical instrument has play pistons incorporated in a trumpet-shaped housing at the upper central part in the front-and-back direction. An air vibration sensor for inputting voices is provided at the end surface on the front side of housing. Through energization of light-emitting elements in accordance with performance data, light emission of rings guides playing. Thus, the player can easily play and practice the musical instrument, such as a trumpet, that determines the tone pitch of a musical tone in accordance with a combination of operation of a plurality of play operators.

    • An electronic musical apparatus assists a performance based on music performance data of a model music piece composed of a plurality of notes allocated to a plurality of channels. Each note is determined by a target pitch and timing. An indicator section visually indicates the target timings of the notes. An input section is operable by a user for sequentially inputting actual timings selectively allocated to one or more of the channels during the performance. A detecting section operates when the input section inputs an actual timing to one channel, for detecting a note having a target timing which matches the inputted actual timing and which is allocated to any one of the channels. An output section responds to the detecting section for outputting the music performance data to the respective channels for sounding all of the notes having the target timings coincident with the inputting of the actual timing.

    • In response to user's selection of a desired instrument style such as a piano style, only some of memory-stored automatic performance data sets that belong to the selected instrument style are made selectable. On the other hand, a tonal characteristic for manual performance is set to a tonal characteristic corresponding to the selected instrument switch. Thus, in executing an ensemble of manual and automatic performances, even a beginner can readily select and set a tone color and performance pattern. According to another aspect, there is provided a memory storing a plurality of automatic performance data sets and the setting parameters in corresponding relation to a plurality of performance styles. Tone setting parameters include manual performance tone setting parameters that are suited at least for the plurality of performance styles. Thus, once a performance style is selected for a desired automatic performance, not only the automatic performance data set but also the manual performance tone setting parameters suited for the performance style can be automatically selectively read out from the memory, and a tone based on a manual performance via a keyboard or the like is set in accordance with the manual performance tone setting parameters.
