    • The present invention provides an image data generating method in which a combined image is not distorted at the boundary area between a left eye image and a right eye image even when the combined image has been compressed with lossy compression among three-dimensional image data generating methods in which a combined image is generated by combining a left eye image and a right eye image. The three-dimensional image data generating method includes a combined image generating step (SA2 or SA3) in which the combined image including a buffer region between the left eye image and the right eye image is generated while the left eye image and the right eye image are arranged, and an image date compressing step (SA4) in which the picture signal of the combined image generated in the combined image generating step (SA2 or SA3) is compressed with lossy compression.

    • An information processing apparatus to be used in a printing system having a client apparatus connected to an image forming apparatus via a network, and a server apparatus that manages setting parameters of printing conditions that can be set up on said client apparatus, said information processing apparatus being able to serve as the client apparatus and comprising: a judgment unit for judging whether said information processing apparatus is a client apparatus or not, with reference to identification information concerning said image forming apparatus stored inside said information processing apparatus; and a setting screen control unit for providing a setting screen that allows a user to select said setting parameters if it is judged that said information processing apparatus is not a client apparatus, and for providing a setting screen that allows a user to modify setting values of said selected setting parameters and prevents the user from modifying setting values of the remaining setting parameters if it is judged that said information processing apparatus is a client apparatus.

    • A motor assembly includes an electric motor and a speed reducing mechanism. The speed reducing mechanism includes: a housing; an internal gear supported by the inner diameter surface of the housing; eccentric disks capable of rotating inside the internal gear when the rotating shaft of the electric motor rotates; an output shaft having at the axial end thereof a cage rotatably disposed between the internal gear and the eccentric disks, the cage being arranged coaxially with the rotation axis of the eccentric disks; and rolling elements retained by the cage and meshing with internal teeth of the internal gear, the number of the rolling elements being smaller than the number of the internal teeth. The eccentric disks are provided on the rotating shaft of the electric motor.

    • A rotation transmission device includes a two-way clutch which is selectively engaged and disengaged by an electromagnetic clutch. The two-way clutch includes a control retainer and a rotary retainer. The control retainer and the rotary retainer have flanges and bars formed on outer peripheral portions of the respective flanges and arranged so as to circumferentially alternate with each other with pockets defined between adjacent bars. Two rollers are received in each pocket. When the control retainer and the rotary retainer are rotated relative to each other, the rollers are adapted to be pushed by the bars to the disengaged position. An anti-rotation arrangement is provided on opposed surfaces of an outer ring and the control retainer member. The anti-rotation arrangement is adapted to prevent the control retainer from rotating relative to the outer ring while the rollers are in engagement, thereby preventing the rollers from moving to the neutral position.
