摘要： A facsimile communication device includes keys for designating identifying data of another facsimile communication device to or from which image data of an original document should be transmitted; an original document sensor for detecting whether or not the original document to be transmitted has been set; and a controller for reading outputs from the keys and original document sensor and controlling data transmission; if the original document has been set when the keys designate the identifying data, another facsimile communication device corresponding to the identifying data and to which the image data should be transmitted being called to receive the image data of the original document transmitted by the controller, and if the original document has not been set when the keys designate the identifying data, another facsimile communication device corresponding to the identifying data and from which the image data should be transmitted being called and required by the controller that the image data should be transmitted from it.

摘要： A facsimile communication apparatus is disclosed which is operable under either one of a facsimile mode for transmitting facsimile signal from a calling station along a telephone line to a called station, and a conversation mode for sending conversation signal from the calling station along the telephone line to the called station. The facsimile communication apparatus at the called station includes a detector for detecting a facsimile request signal indicative of a facsimile communication request made by a calling station within a predetermined period of time after a telephone line is connected to a facsimile communication apparatus of the calling station, and a signal producer for producing a facsimile request signal when the detector detects the facsimile request signal and for producing a conversation request signal when the detecting means detects no facsimile request signal within the predetermined period of time.

摘要： A dial number generator includes a plurality of cards (C1, C2, C3) having a display section on which a large number of subscribers are symbolically displayed and a identification section for (10, 10a) for identifying the type of the card. The generator further includes a main body (1), in which the plurality of cards are housed in a cavity (9) which generates a dial signal in facsimile transmision, etc. The main body has a transparent touch panel (5) by which the symbolic display of one card which is housed can be selectively pressed from the outside of the main body, a detection device (200) capable of identifying the type of the one card, and a device (221) for generating a dial number of subscriber to be called corresponding to a signal output from both the transparent touch panel and the detection device.
