摘要： There is provided a communication system capable of reducing the burden of the terminal that is connected to the Internet via the communication network such as the mobile telephone network, whose security is ensured, and is used to carry out the electronic commerce and the banking service. An encryption communication request generating portion (101) of a client system (100) sends out a security request of a communication route to a gateway server unit (200), an encryption communication controlling portion (203) of the gateway server unit sets up encryption communication between a content server unit (300) and the gateway server unit in response to this, the content server unit encrypts data to be transmitted to the client system and then transmits it to the gateway server unit, and an encryption communication controlling portion of the gateway server unit decrypts this data and transmits it to the client system. Encryption/decryption processing systems are not needed in the client system and thus the burden can be reduced.

摘要： A data conversion apparatus etc. which inhibits octet/bit insertion to reduce a data transmission amount and improve a throughput in a section not requiring octet/bit insertion during communication based on PPP is provided. Further, a communication apparatus which reduces a control packet on a communication line is provided. When transmitting a data signal from DTE to DTE, octet/bit insertion is performed DTE to a data, and transmission is made. In a DCE, a data having a PPP frame configuration and being octet/bit-inserted is converted into a data having an improved PPP frame configuration and being not octet/bit inserted. In a gateway (NW), a data having the improved PPP frame configuration and being not octet/bit inserted is converted into a data having the PPP frame configuration and being octet/bit inserted. After the data conversion, the gateway transmits a signal including the converted data to DTE. In DTE, octet/bit deletion is performed as in the prior art.

摘要： The present invention has the purpose of providing technology capable of efficiently transmitting data when performing data communications between a mobile station and a server apparatus. A simplified protocol TL is employed on the transport layer instead of TCP/IP. The simplified protocol TL is used as the communication protocol on a wireless communication path (radio-oriented interval) between an MS (Mobile Station) 1 and a GWS (GateWay Server) 5. The simplified TL protocol is utilized to relay data communications between the MS 1 and a CPS 8 (Content Provider Server). The response of data communications is therefore improved by a decrease in traffic between the MS 1 and the GWS 5 and reduction in overhead in comparison to when TCP/IP is deployed. As a result, the user can efficiently access content provided by the CPS 8 over the Internet via a wireless communication path. Efficient access may occur even where the wireless communication path has low data transmission capacity in comparison to a wireline communication path. In addition, efficient access may occur where the user is using an MS 1 which has insufficient data processing power to deploy TCP/IP.
