Such diagnosis also includes a method based on the differential between radiation levels and that for correcting a radiation level with the elapsed time since the occurrence of an accident.

When the high temperature high pressure air in the building 1 is discharged to the outside, the air is introduced through the large diameter piping 4 to the pool 5. The steam is condensed by the pool water 5a radioactive substance contained in the exhaust gas, e.g. compressed air, are removed thus reducing the radioactive substance being discharge into the atmospheric air.
