SOLUTION: This route retrieval service has: an information database 4 for storing an operation network expressed by using stations as nodes and movement means between the stations as arcs; a retrieval part 34 for retrieving the nodes and the arcs on the relevant operation network based on retrieval conditions such as a departure station, passing stations and an arrival station; a loop removal part 37 for removing a loop route from the retrieval result when the loop route where the arrival station and the passing station are the same node is included in the retrieval result by the retrieval part 34; and a determination part 36 for detecting the attributes of the arcs included in the loop route to inhibit the removal process by the removal part 37 according to the detected attributes.
