    • PURPOSE:To constitute a hydrostatic-pressure molding device preventing the deformation of a green compact by fitting a pair of terminal molds consisting of hard material attached with annular elastic part members on the opened both ends of the mold consisting of the elastic materials. CONSTITUTION:The opened cylindrical mold 1 consisting of the elastic material (e.g. rubber) and having taper parts 1b, 1c on both ends are formed. To one opening end of the mold1, the end mold 2 having a cap for which an annular elastic part member 3 is fitted to and fixed with a mold inserting part 2a having a smaller than the inside diameter D of a mold 1 is fitted. Also, for the other opening end, the cap 5 having screw holes 5a is attached, and metallic end mold 4 fixed and fixed with the an elastic part member 6 to the tip end is screwed into the screw hole 5a of the cap 5 through the screw part 4a. Based on this constitution, the bar type green compact is formed without giving damage to the green compact by setting the mold device packed with metal powder P into the mold 1 into the hydrostatic-pressurizing device and applying hydrostatic pressure thereon.

    • PURPOSE:To manufacture a green compact having high dimensional accuracy by applying vibration under condition of standing a vessel packed with powder and successively applying isostatic pressing from outer part after turning over the vessel and applying the vibration. CONSTITUTION:To one end of the vessel 1 composed of elastic material of rubber, etc., a cover 2 is fitted, and the vessel is laid on a tapping device 4 under condition of facing the opening end upward. The necessary quantity of metal powder 7 is packed in inner part of the vessel 1 from the opening end part. Successively, by driving the tapping device, the vibration to vertical direction is given to the vessel 1 to make packing density of the metal powder 7 high. Further, the other end of vessel 1 is closed with the cover 3, and by turning over the vessel 1, again the vessel is laid on the tapping device 4 and the vibration to the vertical direction is given. By this method, over the whole vessel 1, the packing density of metal powder 7 is made to sufficient and uniform. Successively, the vassel 1 is set to an isostatic pressur-izing device 8, and by applying the isostatic pressing from the whole outer peripheral part, the metal powder 7 packed in inner part is pressurized. By this method, the green compact having uniform compact density to the whole body can be compacted.
