    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste thermal decomposition system efficiently and certainly conveying/discharging soot generated in a gas reformer to an instrument of latter stage, removing a deposition substance generated from a chemical substance contained in a thermal decomposition gas and deposited on a pipe to prevent closure and capable of stably continuing the thermal decomposition of the waste for a long period of time.
      SOLUTION: The waste thermal decomposition system is made to a structure that the gas reformer 6 is made to a recessed shape; the reformed gas is allowed to flow from an upper part of a cooling boiler 7 to a downstream, is returned at a bottom part 16 and is allowed to upwardly flow in a quencher device 17; the gas is fed from an upper part of the quencher device 17 to a vertically installed bag filter 8; and the gas is fed to a gas washing device 9 of a recessed shape. A carbon discharging mechanism is provided on the returning bottom part 16 of the gas cooling unit 7.
