    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a dust separation dust collection unit that can cleanly dispose of dust by inverting a dust collection container or opening a lid doubling as a bottom portion of the dust collection container while storing minute dust separated by a second separation section at a side closer to an outer periphery of the dust collection container and storing coarse dust separated by a first separation section at a center side of the dust collection container, and further to propose a vacuum cleaner.SOLUTION: A dust separation dust collection unit 8 comprises: a first separation section 35 for separating dust from air by a centrifugal separation system; a second separation section 36 having a plurality of cyclone sections 65 of the centrifugal separation system for separating the dust from the air flowing-in from the first separation section 35; a first container portion 41 that exhibits a cylindrical shape and accumulates the dust separated by the first separation section 35 while doubling as an outer peripheral wall of the first separation section 35; a dust collection container 39 having a second container portion 42 that surrounds the first container portion 41, and collects and accumulates the dust separated by at least two cyclone sections 65; and an inclined surface 79 that is inclined from a nearest portion to at least two cyclone sections 65 toward a farthest portion therefrom and concentrates the dust inside the second container portion 42 at the farthest portion.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a dust separation dust collection unit that is erected by itself with orientation having less possibility that residual dust is dispersed in a removed state of a dust collection container and is excellent in point of view of accomplishment of cleaning and sanitation, and further to propose a vacuum cleaner.SOLUTION: A dust separation dust collection unit 8 comprises: a dust collection container 39 that serves as an outer shell of a first separation section 35 of a centrifugal separation system and accumulates dust; a cylindrical-shaped inner cylinder 42 having a second opening 53 for causing air to flow-out from the first separation section 35 on its sidewall; a second separation section 36 that is coupled to one end portion of the dust collection container 39 and causes the air flowing-in from the first separation section 35 to flow-out toward a non-coupled end portion side; an exhaust tube 37 that is connected to the non-coupled end portion side of the second separation section 36 and exhausts the air; a cover 38 for covering the exhaust tube 37; and a substantially flat inverted orientation support section 96 that is provided on the cover 38 and erects the inner cylinder 42 with the dust collection container 39 removed therefrom, the second separation section 36, the exhaust tube 37 and the cover 38 so as to place inner cylinder 42 sides upward and cover 38 sides downward with respect to a substantially horizontal place.
