    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a consumed electric power, by deciding an amount of the water supply quantity to an ice making tray, and by executing ice making action suitable for the decided water supply quantity.SOLUTION: The refrigerator includes a thawing chamber, a refrigerating room, the ice making tray, a water supply tank holding water for supplying to the ice making tray, a water supplying device for supplying water from a water supplying tank to the ice ma king tray, a temperature sensor for detecting a temperature of the ice making tray, and an ice removing device for carrying out ice removing action. The refrigerator further has a decision means setting a plurality of the thresholds of passing times after carrying out the water supplying action to the ice making tray by the water supplying device and a plurality of thresholds of detected temperature detected by the temperature sensor, and decision in a plurality of stages from no water supplying condition to fully filled condition of the supplied water quantity supplied to the ice making tray based on the plurality of thresholds of the passing times and the plurality of the detected temperatures. The refrigerator further has a control means variably controlling intensity for cooling the inside of the refrigerating chamber based on the decision results of the water supplying quantity when executing the ice making action.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of increasing cooling efficiency of stored goods housed in a storage chamber, because cool air blown off from a back duct provided on the back surface of the storage chamber is blown off with proper straightness toward the front of the refrigerator.SOLUTION: The refrigerator 10 includes a cooler 52 for cooling the inside of the storage chamber 22, the back duct 60 which is provided on the back surface of the storage chamber 22, and a fan 53 for blowing the cool air, cooled by the cooler 52, into the storage chamber 22. The refrigerator 10 also includes an air outlet 66 which is provided in the front surface of the back duct 60 and which blows off the cool air, circulated through the back duct 60, into the storage chamber 22, a rib which is protruded toward the back duct 60 from an edge, on the downstream side of the back duct 60, of the air outlet 66, and a protrusion 70 which is protruded toward the air outlet 66 from the inside of the back duct 60. The protrusion 70 comprises an upstream-side guide surface 74 which directs the cool air, circulated to the downstream side of the back duct 60 from the upstream side thereof, in a forward direction, and a downstream-side guide surface 76 which directs the cool air, blocked by the rib, in the forward direction.
