摘要： The body of a portable device of an electronic key system includes a lock mechanism for removably holding an emergency key held in a housing of the body. The mechanism includes a rotary member and a torsion coil spring. The rotary member is supported rotatably on the body, and when a first end of the member is pushed inward of the body in the direction perpendicular to the rotary shaft, a second end of the member is raised outward of the body. The spring applies a constant force to the first end outward of the body. The second end is formed with a protrusion adapted to be fitted in a hole of the forward end of the key held in the housing. With the key held in the housing, the protrusion is disengaged from the hole and the key can be pulled out by pushing the first end.
