    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blade-proof protective member and blade-proof protective clothes which are light in weight, follow body movements well and have good workability.
      SOLUTION: A blade-proof protective member comprises a plurality of blade-proof square plates 1 made from a blade-proof material, among which the adjacent blade-proof square plates are arranged so that the peripheral parts thereof overlap each other, and connected to each other. Using one planar joint part 4 allowing for formation of at least two connecting end parts 7, the connecting end parts of the blade-proof square plates are inserted into slit-like connecting holes 6 provided in connecting portions of the blade-proof square plates, and the blade-proof square plates are folded and mutually linked via the joint part. Thus, the blade-proof square plates are connected loosely in a given planer shape. Since no bolt or rivet is used, it is unnecessary to overlap the peripheral parts of the blade-proof square plates constituting these blade-proof protective members to provide a through hole. Accordingly, the overlapping width is reduced to the minimum necessary for blade proof, and the present blade-proof protective member is thus light in weight and has excellent mobility as compared with the conventional ones.

Thus, even if the bulletproof board is thin, effective bulletproofing can be achieved, so as to enable design for making the bulletproof board more lightweight.
