    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic discharge protection device enhancing the utilization efficiency of a layout area and the switching speed of an ESD protection element and improving resistance to the electrostatic discharge of the entire display panel.

The ESD pulse applied on the first input signal line is allowed to escape from the second input signal lines by shunting the plurality of the second input signal lines and bringing a plurality of the electrostatic discharge protection units into on-states, respectively, so that they do not enter a third input signal line.
