    • The present invention can provide the rubber composition for a carcass ply and/or a belt, which comprises a rubber component comprising 30 to 90% by weight of a natural rubber and 10 to 70% by weight of an epoxidized natural rubber and a filler containing not less than 80% by weight of silica, has adhesion as favorably compared with a rubber composition mainly comprising raw materials derived from non-petroleum resources, and makes it possible to reduce an adverse effect on environment and provide for the future decrease of petroleum supply, the carcass ply and/or the belt using the same composition, and the preparation process of the same composition. It is preferable that the process for preparing the rubber composition for a carcass ply and/or a belt comprises a step (1) of kneading the natural rubber and silica and a step (2) of kneading the kneaded product discharged in the step (1) and the epoxidized natural rubber.

    • The objective of the present invention is to provide a pneumatic tire that can desirably prevent generation of static electricity between the road face and the tire, while maintaining a low rolling resistance, so that the safety in use is further improved. In pneumatic tire of the present invention, each of tread rubber, breaker rubber and sidewall rubber that are respectively formed on a tread section, a breaker section and a sidewall section has a volume resistivity of 1×108 Ω·cm or more, with a conductive layer having a volume resistivity smaller than 1×108 Ω·cm and a thickness in a range from 0.2 to 2.0 mm being formed between a carcass ply forming the carcass and the sidewall rubber, and at least either conductive layer or a rubber cement layer that is formed so as to be made in contact with conductive layer and has a volume resistivity lower than that of the tread rubber is exposed to the surface of the tire.

    • A tire improving electric conductivity and rolling resistance performance is provided. A tire wherein an inherent resistance value is at least 109 Ω·cm and the amount ratio of silica in a reinforcing filler is at least 70% by weight in a tread part, a sidewall part, a breaker part or a ply part, further having a conductive rubber layer together with the tire parts, wherein the conductive rubber layer is (a) a conductive rubber layer which contacts with a bead part and is continuously arranged to the ground contact surface of the tread part through between the sidewall part and the ply part, having an inherent resistance value of at most 108 Ω·cm and a thickness of 0.1 to 5 mm, or (b) a conductive rubber layer which contacts with a bead part and is continuously arranged between the sidewall part and the ply part and between the tread part and the breaker part or in the tread part, having an inherent resistance value of at most 108 Ω·cm and a thickness of 0.1 to 5 mm.
