    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging system at a low cost allowing a simple device configuration and an easy operation on a user side.SOLUTION: A charging system comprises an electric automobile 10 on which a battery 101 is mounted, a power supply unit 30 including a network controller 302 connected to a server 502 for accounting of an electric power company 50 via a network 40, and a connection conversion unit 20 which is connected between a special socket part 301 of the power supply unit 30 and a general purpose plug part 101 of the electric automobile 10, includes an electric energy meter 203 for measuring charging electric energy from the power supply unit 30, a power relay 202 for supplying/shutting down the charging electric power, and authentication data for specifying a user and is possessed by the user, the network controller 302 authenticates the user, controls the power relay 202, and transmits a charging electric energy measured value, and the server 502 performs accounting for the user based on the received charging electric energy measured value.
