    • To group a plurality of data items through a simple operation, an information processing device includes a displaying unit for displaying an image of a virtual space where a plurality of data-related positions respectively associated with a plurality of data items are set and each data-related position is surrounded solely or together with other data-related position by a closed area, such that each closed area is distinctive; an operation unit for allowing a user to operate so as to arbitrarily move the data-related position in the virtual space; a closed area update unit for updating each closed area in the virtual space according to movement of the data-related position in the virtual space; and a grouping unit for grouping, when the plurality of data-related positions are surrounded by a common closed area, data associated with the respective data-related positions.

A playing screen generation unit processes the playing of the digital contents and generates image data of a playing screen that contains information on its playing content. A background generating unit generates a background area (160) including a decorative object (162) that floats in the three-dimensional space, as a background of the menu screen and the playing screen, and displaying the background area. When an instruction to play the contents is received from a user and when the menu screen shifts to the playing screen, the background generating unit varies the background area (160) by using an image with which a visual effect is obtained as if the user were moving toward the back of three-dimensional space from a user's point of view.

    • A novel electrophotographic photoreceptor and a method of preparation therof are disclosed. The photoreceptor is characterized in that the photosensitive layer contain a specific carbonate resin binder resin having a weight average molecular weight on not less than 200,000. The resin is preferably a polycarbonate resin which contains repeating units represented by the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5, R.sup.6, R.sup.7 and R.sup.8 are respectively and independently a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group, a halogen atom or an unsubstituted or substituted aromatic group; and R.sup.9 and R.sup.10 are respectively and independently a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group, an unsubstituted or substituted aromatic group, or form a ring or a carbonyl group together with the linking carbon atom. The method is characterized in that the photosensitive layer contains a polyocarbonate having a weight average molecular weight of not less than 200,000 as a binder resin and is formed by spray coating or spiral coating.
