摘要： The present invention relates to a coated optical fiber comprising a glass optical fiber with a single protective coating or a combination of an inner and an outer primary coating applied thereon and optionally with a colored coating subsequently applied thereon wherein the inner primary coating or at least a portion of the single coating is prepared from a radiation curable composition which when cured as a capillary film with a 100W medium pressure mercury lamp has a percentage reacted acrylate unsaturation of at least about 54% after exposure to a dose of about 4.4 mJ/cm2 or wherein the outer primary coating is prepared from a radiation curable composition which when cured as a capillary film with a 100 W medium pressure mercury lamp has a percentage reacted acrylate unsaturation of at least about 56% after exposure to a dose of about 4.4 mJ/cm2. The invention further relates to a radiation curable composition having a high cure speed.

摘要： Waste reduction, including hazardous waste reduction in photoimaging processes can be accomplished by improving diffusional resolution of cationic curable compositions. The addition of fluorinated polymers including fluorinated surfactants provides improved diffusional resolution in cationic and/or radical based photoimaging formulations allowing for image accuracy improvements, and reduced product and process waste quantity and disposal cost. These fluorinated surfactants also allow for increased cure speed, and non-hazardous constituent formulations that result in less wasted material and time.

The process for the preparation of the surface nano-structured and/or nano-porous coatings is a process comprising the steps of a) applying a mixture to a substrate which mixture comprises i) reactive nano-particles ii) at least one solvent iii) optionally a compound having at least one polymerisable group, in an amount that results in an increase in the transmission of at least 0.5%, for at least part of the electromagnetic spectrum between 400 and 800 nm, after the mixture has been applied and cured on a transparent substrate, in comparison with the same substrate without a coating b) inducing crosslinking and/or polymerisation in the mixture applied to the substrate.

摘要： A snap assembly may include a cantilever snap and a retention body. The cantilever snap may include an orifice in a surface of a first component. The orifice may be defined between sidewalls. The cantilever snap may further comprise a cantilevered-slant protrusion extending between the sidewalls and out of the orifice at an angle relative to the surface. The retention body may be attached to a second component and configured to be inserted into the orifice from a side of the first component that is opposite of a side of the first component away from which the cantilevered-slant protrusion extends to secure the retention body to the cantilever snap. The retention body may include a retaining extension comprising a holding assembly. The holding assembly may comprise a plurality of teeth that are arrayed to form a series of step-like protrusions that step away from a contact face of the retention body.
